Double Vision

Taken at sunset on the Vltava (Moldau) River. We were at a riverfront cafe watching the sun go down when I caught sight of this building, which I had earlier photographed up close http://www.pbase.com/helenpb/image/35822074, and its reflection. The fish kept jumping in the water and I had to wait a long time until they calmed dowm. I used a different image of the same scene in the Sweet Light challenge, but I don't believe I've ever entered this one.

You do seem to like to capitalize on reflections, Helen, and you've done a wonderful job with this shot. I like the rich colors and the wispy cloud texture in the sky adds a nice touch. It goes without saying that the reflection makes the shot!

The colors are splendid, the reflection is splendid and the overall composition is… yes splendid. The small dam in the river guides our glance to the building which is your main subject and I like it very much.
