Tie 3rd Place
Zen

by stephane bouchard

Blainville, Qc, Canada

Wet rocks shot on a mirror and lighted by a 50w halogen bulb.
The blue cast is daylight entering from windows, reflecting on the mirror, and distorted by a white balance side effect (was set on incandescent).

Are there too many objects for a Zen pictures (Two rocks and a water drop)?

I would think Zen was just peaceful and this image certainly is. I love the drop of water and it might have gotten lost without that second rock.

Now, you know I'm nuts. First, I hit 'add comment' before typing my message, which apparently didn't do anything. Then apologized for a blank message that isn't there. Anyway, still love the pic! Karen

Oops, sorry for the blank one! Don't know my 'zen' but I love this picture. Your rocks have a lot of character. Karen
