Thanks for the comments. The R1 has a max timed shutter release of 30 seconds, or a manual start/stop that can go up to 3 mins at ISO160. Great for stuff like this.

i had no idea the R1 had such long exposure times. i love the color, it only seems a tad crooked

With 80 seconds, almost look like sunset, not a midnight... Wow... Without any visible noise... (that's for me) Now it make me think either R1 or DSLR... =p Really good shot...
