Bird Paradise
by jrdu

Xinhui, Guangdong, China

This is a four shot panorama of a tree growing south of Xinhui, Guangdong province, China. It is a banian tree that started growing in this river 380 years ago. It covers an area of 10 000 square metres, or about the size of two football fields side by side. The man who wrote the lyrics for the Chinese National Anthem, a celebrated poet in China, visited this tree and named it "Xiao niao tian tang" which means "Bird Paradise". The local people call it Birdsky.

Ok, Jerry, I took your advice. It looks a lot smoother now. Thanks.

This is all one tree, John? WOW!
have you tried Autostitch for panos? I think it would do a better job of blending the sky tones. It's a free program available at:http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html
