The ol' Buckshot tower
by Arn

The tower was built in 1856 and is 55 meters high. It was used for manufacturing shotgun pellets.

There's not as much post processing as you might think. Just Curves, B&w conversion, toning and contrast adjustment with layering.
Much of the drawn / grainy feeling comes from light shining on snow particles.

I particularly like the toning of this image, Arn, and the feeling of solitude I get from it. Helen

Arn,
Love the moodiness of the shot and the small dots of snow. Your composition is great too with the single lit window drawing the viewer's attention to the top of the tower. Fine work on the toning. Excellent!
