She 's looking at her new puppy "Bosco." An English bulldog. (The sight of "Bosco" would inspire a grimace like this.) Alyssa now has a cat, 2 doves, two rabbits and several other odd and sundry pets and, of course, Mom has picked up the slack on their daily care. I took several good shots at her birthday celebration. She photographs well and exhibits great expressions. shu

From this series, this is my favorite. Her expression is so intense that we can just smile at it. I think many people here wants to know what the gift was but they are too shy to ask… -Stéphane
