Katherine, this is so beautiful! The colors, the detail of the feathers, the composition, the white background - all together make for a striking potrait. Bev

Vivid and sharp. The overall composition is great, and I love the transition to the white background. Quite a striking fellow!

Katherine, I really like the interesting and unusual posture you captured here...very nice color and detail in all of the feathers. The bright background & choice of crop/comp are also very appealing. Looks like Max has no trouble reaching all those hard to reach places :) Nice candid portrait of your fine, feathered friend. MFC

Katherine: This is simply splendid. From a composition point of view, it's hard to imagine anything better. The colors are vivid without being overstated, and that fade in the top left corner counters the bottom right to a fare thee well. The detail just snaps! Wow! John
