Melanie, I like this rendition of a goatsbeard seed head, showing the fly-away nature of the individual seeds. Nice clarity and sense of delicacy...effective backlighting. Good DOF in the background too... neat that a goat, with quite a nice beard itself, is approaching the seed head. Well seen and taken. MFC

A neat series, Melanie. The salsify looks so light and airy and definitely ready to fly away. (OT: I love your goat pictures. Recently spent time in the goat barn at the 4H fair; all of the goats were so social!) Bev
