This is the venue for a major annual folk festival in St. John's, Newfoundland. This was the 29th annual.

This pathway separates the main concert grounds and stage on the left from the beer gardens on the right. The pathway, lit by patio lights, is very beautiful after sunset, and friends meet here and stop for a bit of a chat so as to not disturb those enjoying the music.

I didn't have a tripod with me, so, at my shorter friend's suggestion, I set my camera on top of his head and shot this one.
