An excellent photo with great lights and shaddows. The cropped lady adds very important and interesting element, without it, the photo would be very different.

How interesting this photo is KT. Thanks for the explanation. I never thought the water was shooting up! Until you told us. Very cool. I like the whole idea, and she looks like she will have a dilemna any second now! ;~)

Linda, not much to this picture really. It's a shot of a jets of water that shoot up from grates in the pavement. The water is collected through cracks between the slabs. It looks like it's raining but it was actually partly sunny. The light on the droplets help to contrast against the shadows in the wet pavement. The hard part was to wait for a lady to come along and take a chance of not getting wet cause it was windy. Thank you for your comments.

Wow, thanks Salman! I was thinking I should play around with it a bit but I guess not.

Thanks Melanie for your comments. I'm experimenting on moody types of pictures every chance I get.

Superb capture KT, I love everything about it: the slightly angled perspective, the woman's cropped out figure, the dynamic from the water and the running woman, and the B&W tones. Well done!
