China Walls Guestbook

Portlock, Hawaii

Risked life and limb (not to mention camera) on this shot. With one eye on the waves and making sure I didn't slip on the algae covered rocks, I took this picture of graffiti on the rock ledge at "China Walls" in Portlock on Oahu, Hawaii. Presumably people put their names during a time of lower surf.

Not to mention being careful with your SELF, lol!!! Yikes...I've seen your photos of the waves crashing at this spot...10 points for bravery here! Interesting place and photo, too! ~Nee :)

Richard I like this one too. I like the effect of the water on the rocks, adds a great glisten to the words and the texture. Ann C

Richard, this is a unique graffiti most of us would never be able to see...great perspective, nice lighting/textural elements too. MFC
