Life Is Just a Bowl of Peppers

by Helen Betts

Ankara, Turkey

I just couldn't resist one more try for this Challenge. Besides, I spent around $10.00 for the hot peppers and couldn't let it all go to waste :-). My thanks goes to my husband, who kept having to interrupt his computer game to drop handfulls of peppers into the water for me.

Very interesting effect, I just don't like the shadows in the background...

Helen, I missed this totally, before voting, darn it. What a perfect photo of clarity and stop action. Such a clever composition!

What a Stunning submergance Helen. Its really hopping. The splashing is alive and creates so many organic patterns that contrast the brilliant colour of the sinking ~Hot looking~ peppers

Helen, I like how you captured this "pool party" at the local "watering hole" :) Colorful and energetic...a very playful scene. Really nice catch of all the liquid action. A fun and creative idea...well done. MFC

Thank you, Mark and Sonny. As to the container, I just went downtown to my local glass store and found a fairly thin, good-sized bowl. When I got it home, I realized that what I had thought was a sticker was a permanent part of the glass, but I just turned it to the side and it disappeared :-). Helen

I'm sure my "photo assistants" (family) can sympatize with your husband. I keep interrupting them too to drop something here, hold a prop there, etc.:) Nice and colorful image you have here. What container did you use to drop these?

Superb, Helen! A little "splash" of color too :-) Markjay
