Float Like A Butterfly
by

Coffee stirrer used as a straw to blow bubbles in a brandy glass filled with water. Printed a photo of buttefly and placed it behind the brandy glass. A slave flash unit was placed behind the buttefly photo for ligthing. A Canon 250D macro lense was also used.

Very cool shot - clever idea! I like the way you've captured the one bubble coming out of the straw.

Very creative idea, Sonny, and well executed. I love the butterflies trapped within the drops. I also appreciate you putting your process since I normally can never imagine how one does these kinds of things :-). Helen

Very interesting bubble shapes Sonny! even without the cool looking butterfly reflections within...I guess the tempest wind from the straw has created this unique warp.Good connnection of colour in and out of the suspended worlds~Well done~!* Irish

Sonny, I really like how you captured the colorful butterflies "trapped" in their floating cocoons. Nice DOF and great timing...the overall color contrast is very appealing. Thanks for sharing your technique too...a creative take on such a clever idea. Well done. MFC
