Intriguing. Reminds me of an experiment I did when I was a kid when I placed a candle inside a stand up freezer to find out what would eventually win... unfortunately the candle did:)

@MFC: Thank you. It's a small spit or skewer (looked up this word in the dictionary). I needed something where the drops get this size.

Sonyshooter, I like how you arranged/composed this. It's simple and effective...especially how the flame is aligned just under the drop. Very nice contrast with the background too. Good idea and well executed. What exactly am I viewing along the top there? MFC

Sony shooter.. Very neat .. I feel like I am in a tiny crawl space .. Great positioning of the candle and the space between the drop and it..Unique Crop contributes to this very private space...Evocative piece and interesting illume on the droplet~Irish

Very striking image. I like the way the light drops off and only illuminates the drop. Helen
