Bubbles*
by Dan Koyanagi

Bubbles in a glass of water.
Canon 250D close up lens. Single flash bounced off the ceiling. The glass was sitting on a white plate, which is why the bubbles look like they're lit from above and below.

Sony DSC-F828
1/60s f/5.6 at 29.3mm iso64 with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Well done Dan, I tried hard to get a version of this shot(before I saw yours) but just couldn't get it right. So I know how hard it is to capture.

Nice take on the the theme. The random formation of the bubbles opitomizes the property of liquids. Very nice image.

This is a very cool shot, I love it, it's amazing what you can see in a simple glass of water....Penelope

Dan, I really like your dense collection of bubbles here...nice technique to give luminance to the bubbles and provide good contrast with the background. It seems like a gathering of flying vessels in outer space. I like the "bigger-than-life" size achieved with your macro lense too. Well done, Dan. MFC

Bubbles in infinate space..Really like the feeling of floating through this close-up of mercurial looking bubbles.. .[I'm navigating] I like the exclusion of the form in this one which really gives the the appearance of deep space . Very 3D Composition & Rich Black and silver colour.. Cool Spacey shot Dan, Great capture~Irish

Nice bubbles, well captured, Dan. Yes, great minds do think alike; maybe it's our mutual connection to Okinawa :-). Helen
