Frustrating Liquid*

I tried to do the famous water drop shot but failed. I tried everything and in the end went mad after about 300 shots. The only thing I was really happy about was the colour. If any of you guys could give me some tips I would be really grateful. Cheers Rob.

Rob... trying for A fa-m-o-u-s water drop?hehe I also have no idea of that..but this is a beautiful image. So much depth here in super colour..As the viewers eye moves from the left expance ring down the water drop to clear bottom..I love that little bubble on the third ring all alone..I dont think that could be repeated! Great shot..Irish

Rob, beautiful color and concentric pattern here...nice play of shadow and light. I especially like how the water tower "rises" from the scene to interrupt the perfectly still design with it's motion. This scene doesn't even need the perfect water drop...there's plenty here to please the eye. Well composed...a beautiful shot. (*)I haven't tried capturing a water drop yet...I'm sure someone else can help out. MFC

Nice start, Rob! I really like the color as well. I notice that none of your EXIF info is on any of your images; it might be helpful for anyone who can offer suggestions to know what you used. Helen
