Money Down The Drain
by

Just so you know, this really IS money in my kitchen sink,
going down the drain (with a sink strainer keeping me from totally losing the money.
I took me quite a few "tries" till I found the "money flow" and the right water pattern
that I was happy with. If you can imagine me sifting through about 25 images, looking
for the right "water pattern and money flow", then you know what a fanatical photographer
I truly am :-)

That's what I've been doing buying camera equipment.....
throwing my money down the drain :-)

Nicely done, Mark. I really like the silvery effect of the whole scene. Helen

Mark..Great concept and even better execution of it...This could be an Poster ..that we can all relate to.[as Mlynn says] and you captured the act of losing money really well here..those bubbles are eating the money up. A really good action composition that gives new meaning to keeping your money liquid..At these interest rates its as good as going down the drain..Much better investment in camera equipment.Really effective in B&W& I really like the metallic effect too..irish

Mark, this is a really fun idea, & I like your capture of all that bubbling water action around the drain. Your use of the dollar bills here is a unique touch and ties in well with your idea/title. I like the metallic texture of the sink too. Good idea...and well taken. MFC

A cool looking and very beautiful image Mark (and I can really relate to the concept :)); what gives the background that almost brushed-metal look? --Melanie
