Goats on a Gourd*

Just a bit of fun, since my goats wouldn't cooperate :).
Let me know if it appears too dark; I am using a new monitor, and it is much brighter than my old one
(and I might be misjudging things).

Melanie, I still really like how you created this...it implies to my "mind's eye" that these goats are like a running herd. The gourds are like the plain/field they're running on. I like what you came up with here. MFC

Thank you everyone :). Mike, there was only one gourd involved, photographed several times. I even tried spinning it a couple of times--but that didn't work out so well. Technically, I just haven't quite grasped how to photograph motion yet :). Melanie

Melanie, I really like the dark red hue of this shot, it adds a lot of atmosphere. I love how seems to bring out the paintings on the wall.

Well i happen to like dark photos that don't have to jump out at someone, so I'm not much help! lol I LOVE subtle unforced color especially in low light glow. You got it.;~)

Melanie, I like how you captured the goats "jumping" from gourd to gourd :) Nice set of repeating forms here. The color and lighting seem very "moody" to me...dark, but everything is visible. How many gourds were actually involved in the "filming" of this scene? MFC
