Say "Cheese!"
by Helen Betts

Ankara, Turkey

I think the poor swan was expecting a tidbit but all it got was its picture taken with a cell phone!

There's a lot of motion in this Helen, a bunch of interspecies stuff. Nicely done.

Helen, this is a beautiful, colorful shot, with lots of action going on (and humorous too :)). Melanie

Great capture - I wish I could see the photo from the cell phone! I'm surprised the swan wasn't trying to bite it.

Helen, very funny...would have loved to see the swan snatch the phone.

Good capture, Helen. Lots of life here. I think you're right, though... the swan was likely looking for food - not posing for a picture ;-)

Helen, this is really funny...that swan is such a willing model. I esp like the proximity of the man's oustretched arm to the swan's extended neck. I agree with Miguel...the scene is full of life and relationships. This is another nice candid...& that park certainly looks like a very popular spot to enjoy time with the family. MFC
