Young and Old
by Keith T.

New York City

In Greek mythology, when Oedipus met the Sphinx, he was faced with answering a riddle...or suffering death.

What walks on four legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon, and three legs at night?

Hint: the morning is missing.

Good clarity and light in the building; nice capture of contrasts. Helen

Keith, this is a great idea and well executed. A stroller would make it perfect but I guess you can't wait all day. It was probably hard enough to get these two fellows in the same frame.

Keith, I like how you composed/cropped this scene with your two subjects on either side of the building...one walking upright and hastily...the other bent over and slowly, with the aid of a staff. Good eye for demonstrating the differences in mobility with age. I didn't exactly answer the riddle...but I hope the Sphinx will still let me pass :) MFC
