Interesting... I see this as anything but stark! :-) I don't get out into the sticks nearly as often as I should these days (STF addiction doesn't help!), but I find this a wondrous sight in many ways, not least the stateliness of the trees -- both of them still in a most important part of their life cycle when you consider their habitat value to native fauna. Great to see them allowed to exist in peace, and a beautiful photo that does them ample justice. - Mike

David, I like the moody sky and open expanse of field here...it sets a nice stage for the "comrades". This scene reminds me of two large beasts on the African savannah...nice choice for IR. MFC
