8th (tie)
The Joust
by MFC

This "jousting tournament" was held on a bed sheet
placed across the top of my kitchen counter.
The ceramic knights are each about a foot long and tall.

Nothing more I can add that hasn't been said, Mike. The device of extending out-of-frame has always been a particular favourite of mine. - Mike F.

Nice, Mike. I like the high-key interpretation you chose for these ceramic figures. Very effective composition and border for an "active" feeling. -Michael

Cool shot - I like the bright colors on the white background, and also the way it extends out of the frame!

Well I too like how the image extends it's borders so to speak, MFC. I also like how controlled the highkey is, that is to say the foreground figure's arm and sword maintains it's details and proper exposure while the far figure has enough highkey (long exposure?) to give it a certain mystery.

Very nice, MFC. I like the way their weapons extend outside of the frame as well as the high-key quality of the image. Helen
