Similar feelings about the grass. It adds well to the effect but I'd be interested to see this with the grass on just the right side cloned out (rather than cropped, as I view it). Not an easy task, but the bare silhouette resulting might add expansiveness. Just my $0.02 - Mike

Rich: I like the colors and the exposure which allows just enough foreground to show.(*) I wonder if fewer distinct plants would have a more powerful effect visually, though this has a distinct 'natural' feel to it,

Rich, while foreground/background (2) is my favorite composition of the three, I like the strong association of foreground grasses with backgound sunset in this shot. Just a suggestion (*), but I think cropping out the grasses on the right side would give an even stronger juxtaposition of foreground on the left and background sunset to the right. Lovely colors throughout all three of your entries. -Michael
