kt and Mike, thank you for your comments. The light was the base of a lava lamp, which I at first had tried to shine into the tea from below (the glasses were on a glass table). But it just wasnt' working well, so finally in desperation (after climbing around on the floor under the table to get my black background in place), I grabbed the lamp and tried holding it somewhere to the top and side of the tea, and this was the result. Helen, I agree with kt...I really like the star pattern on the matching cups and saucers. The warm glow from the tea thru the glass is beautiful. Nice lighting & contrast here. Again, like kt said, very inviting. MFC

The stars on the cup and saucer stand out nicely, Helen. Your lighting is from above? Nevertheless the warm glow from the tea and the stars make it very inviting.
