Very nice scene - I like the sky color and the silhouettes!

Thanks, Bev, sounds great...I used to be an avid bird watcher, often traveling many miles in hopes of spotting a new bird for my "life list" :) MFC

Thanks, Mike - I've added information. If-you-go: dawn is better than dusk; late afternoon viewers look into the sun - and one needs a good telephoto lens capture the cranes at anythng other than specks :-) Even without pics it's an awesome sight to watch the cranes fly in and listen to their distinctive calls. A beautiful silhouette photo, Bev. Good idea, well composed...nice lighting & color too. I also like how the wispy branches help frame the view. Where is this? MFC
