'The Captain Cook Memorial Jet' at Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra.

A memorial to the discovery of the east coast of Australia by Captain James Cook in 1770.

This fountain shoots a towering jet of water into the air which,
on a windless day can reach a height of 440 feet.

This lake with the shootup fountain looks just like lake le Manc (I think?!) in Geneva, Swiss. Good shot! Antoine
