The Intruder
by Norbert

Somewhere in Canada

From the oyster to the eagle, from the swine to the tiger,
all animals are to be found in men and each of them
exists in some man, sometimes several at the time.
Animals are nothing but the portrayal of our virtues
and vices made manifest to our eyes, the visible
reflections of our souls. God displays them
to us to give us food for thought.
- Victor Hugo, Les Misérables

Thank you all for the kind comments, that was one of my first pitures with my new Sony, taken roadside near Toronto. For seeing the first time cows, Rudy my Lab handeld the situation very well, however I guess the cows, seeing for the first time a black Lab needed a little more recovery time.
Thanks Norbert

This is a very funny image! I love it. I wonder what the cows are thinking of the dog!

Good job.

Great capture. The cows looking on from behind the fence and the dog's obvious lack of concern are priceless. Helen

Norbert, what a wonderful capture! The Lab certainly looks as though it has not a care in the world. Great expressions on all!---Deb

Well, Norbert, I'm a big fan of outdoor portraits of our canine friends and this one is special. This lab is particularly joyful and the onlookers are priceless. Well done. The Hugo text a nice addition. -Michael
