Storm's a Comin'
by MFC

Two minutes after this shot, the spots of sunshine disappeared;
and heavy thunderstorms followed. We're in a flash flood & tornado watch today.
I just drove down this gravel road...you can see my tire tracks if you look closely.
My first IR shot...manual, not nightshot...I've only got the Hoya R72 filter at this time.
I have a lot to learn from you all about IR photography methods.

Nice shot, MFC! I really like the slight hint of color in the background, and also the ominous storm clouds. The tire tracks barely visible on the road make it "classic MFC" photography. Your eye for detail amazes me.---Deb

Hi Mike & well done in getting an entry in this Challenge. I love the curve of the road, which leads the eye into the image. I love the toning you have done on the trees in the distance and the dodging/burning on the edges of the frame. It really gives the image a "fine art prnt" feel.

All the best
