new york city, central park

this is a very popular lake in nyc's central park. lovers go there all the time for a quite romantic rowboat ride.

this is the actual scene as i photographed it, no photoshopping here.
shot with sony f828, 720nm ir filter aboard. in post, a luminosity toning layer added, levels adjustment.

Great shot and I love the "Toning" done here. I would have cropped it so the area(sky) above the branch is cropped out, which makes the buildings more dramatic. Just a thought. Bill

Another corker (means it's good) from you Andy. I love the soft-focus effect, the soft blown tones, the contrasty nature of the image, but above all the composition. The two spires and the boat are beautifully placed. I wonder how long you had to wait to get a boat in the perfect position.
