hi ric - (*) i think you were too close here. back up some, by foot or by zoom, and get the entire swan's reflection. also, maybe a more blue-black color would be more appropriate? good effort -- andy

Hi Ric,

I like your swan. Swans are really beautiful creatures - especially the black ones. I'd improve the shot in three ways:

1 - Go for a more dymamic composition (probably following the rule of thirds).
2 - Make sure to include all of the swan's reflection in the water.
3 - When colour-correcting in PS or PSP, remove the green tint from the swan using curves.

Still a great shot though
