Hi Ric,
Another good capture. I love the dynamic nature of this image achieved through the use of a diagonal. I also love the silky texture of the watery background. It is a shame that the 717 is restricted to F2.4, since this has meant that most of the pelican head is out of focus. This is the only thing letting the image down, but it is something beyond your control.
