Thanks for the kind comments. Viewing this picture is very dependent on the monitor brightness setting. There is a faint outline of a mountain on the rigth side but I see on the monitor of one colleage at work that it is not visible. I now also notice on close inspection that in my attempt to make the sky more blue than black I have introduced what looks like JPEG artifacts in the sky.

Ha, this is nice!. You have a bold composition here with only the light trails and the road, and indeed works very well conveying the feel of the night.
