Truth is, I never got out of the car for this pic, and I was very happy that I didn't.

Thanks Dave for sharing that interesting story. It's funny now, but I'm sure it wasn't so funny at the time. Lucky you were close to your car when that dog showed up! The other shots of your road trip were very good too; just one picture missing however....the dog showing his big sharp teeth! LOL! - bottles

OK, you asked for it. I went fishing with my brothers last weekend. In between the morning and evening fishing, I went for a ride on the back roads of West Central Wisconsin to try my new camera. I found quite a few things to take pics of. For this picture, I went down what I thought was a road, but I was about to find out it was a 1/2 mile driveway. I saw the barn, a took 3 pics of it. At this time, The biggest, meanest dog came racing at my car. I took off toward the house (still thinking it's a road) but it's a dead end. I quickly turned the car around and the dog is right there again. I slung gravel like I was a teenager with my first car. I made a sucsessful getaway of what I thought were good pics. Anyhow, that's the story behind the barn pic.
I have a few other pics of my little road trip here. Thanks for the interest, and take the road less traveled. It can turn into an interesting day.

What an interesting shot Dave, could you tell us where it was taken? Yes, I'd say there are a few too many openings (smile). I like your choice of B&K here too. Thanks for sharing. bottles

A clear case where openings in incumbent weather would not be desirable..nevertheless it makes for an interesting in the act of collapsing scene ....one has to wonder what would be the final straw .. Good interpretation on this theme and nicely done. irish_eye
