Welcome to PB (Pacific Beach)! Located north of San Diego and just south of the beautiful town La Jolla (and 5 miles south of my home), PB represents the essence of California Beaches. This is a "real neighborhood" as real as you can find in San Diego. This is indeed the place for beach parties and beach games including volley ball and surfing. Tons of young people cover the sand, full of music (do you hear it?), smell of alcohol and energy mixed with some "non-typical" characters.

The image was taken last Sunday afternoon and I think it conveys fairly well the essence of the place. The two fellows in front are example of the young people you will find and serve to frame the image ... and the people partying on the back ... well you imagine.
