Took this picture at Warrawong Sanctuary here in Adelaide, a small wildlife sanctuary for endangered birds and animals. This guy is a rainbow lorikeet and I really like the way he stands out against the green foliage. I took this photo on a dawn tour of the sanctuary and it was already about 32 degrees Celcius. It reached 44.3 degrees for the days maximum, I'm surprised the animals were out at all.
