This is actually the "Tree of Life" at Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom park. It's 145 feet tall with translucent leaves. The Bug's life 3d ride is actually a theater inside of it, with a garden surrounding it. Took this photo there on my honeymoon.

What a cool tree. Has it been "parasitized" by other species, or are those gnarled things its own? What kind of tree is it? Thanks for sharing. ann
