This was taken from the footsteps of Mazada mountain looking towards the dead sea and this tree was so alone with no friend as far as the eye can see so I had to bring him here to meet some friends.

I think it was Buzz Aldrin, but I can't be sure, who said when stepping on the moon "Magnificent desolation". I get that here. Nice shot.

I love the sense of loneliness and desolation (and heat, too). It's so flat, though, everything looks a little squashed.
