Macro image of an electric fence (in Wasau, Wisconsin) designed to keep cows in the pasture. Some fog rolled in the night before, so I knew there would be "chunky frost" on everything in the morning. So the next morning I set out and saw this along my walk. I chose the "Incandescent" white balance to give the image a "cold feeling" (as it was cold that morning with a temp of -5). I was a little nervous taking the picture because the camera was only about an inch from the fence, and the fence was on; and if the fence can keep a cow in, it must have some serious current running through it.
