Shaking the Tree

I set the shutter to 8s. I half depressed the shutter to focus lock, then I lifted the front tripod leg a few inches and depressed the shutter. I let the tripod drop to the floor over 1.5s and then panned it for 1.5s. The rest of the shot the tripod remained motionless
