Sorry, I accidentally deleted your comment! I'm new at this challenge thing and not sure of what I'm doing here. I'm learning from this one and hope to do better on the next one. You said "bottles, I really like the colorful star bursts here. The background contrast is effective too. Are the twinkles an effect...or the way you captured the globe's points of light? Nice lighting...neat shot." MFC

Anyway, thanks for your comment. The twinkles are actually just an effect. The real snow didn't show up very well so I decided to erase the glass globe and add the twinkles. I was surprised that the little figurines in the globe showed up as well as they did, since the shot was taken through that thick glass.
