Excellent use of almost monochrome color to achieve a serene mood. A real eye catcher. R. J. (Imager)

I used Photoshop to boost the saturation and I sharpened the image a little bit. The 'glowing edges' on the flowers just popped when I pushed the saturation adjustment a little bit beyond what your eye would consider 'normal' or 'acceptable'. I was trying to play with the depth of field on the 5700 to see how much I could blur the flowers (and wall) in the background. At the time, I had only had the camera for a few weeks........

Brilliant laser-like color. How did you acheive this effect ? -johnebones

Very nice color -- almost glowing. Also like your use of DOF. Helen
