Great use of macro and perspective. If there were one thing I would do, it would be to add some additional swabs on the left hand side, so as to extend the perspective to the upper left corner. Small nit though - well conceived and executed.

I have difficult time capturing white subjects. Great job, capturing and making it more interesting, I give it a 4.

Beautiful and interesting shot Katherine. I like how the sticks and their shadows make such a silky diagonal line pattern. How did you keep the heads of the cotton swabs so lint free? No extraneous lint in sight! Melanie (mlynn)

Lovely macro/abstract, Katherine...really nice comp/perspective/DOF. Light and shadow work well here to accentuate form. The single color is very effective too. MFC

Katherine, What a great macro of an everyday subject~ you've given it an abstract feel to make the Q-tips seem huge. The exposure is perfect and I like the diagonal placement. Roberta
