OOoh, beautiful 'rock' shot johnebones. It reminds me of being in a mineral museum-- where the blacklight brings out the colors in the stones. (Clever title too.) Melanie (mlynn)

johnebones, neat idea to use an album cover as background...good DOF effect. I esp like the rock textures and the really effective lighting. Nice shot. MFC

Thanks Roberta and Andy. The background is a photo album cover, and the light source a desk lamp. I noticed that when the light was directly overhead, it created a white streak down the middle (and I liked the effect, especially on the backgound). I wish I could say the lighting was part of a preformed plan, but it happened accidentally. -johnebones

Wow, this is very cool! How did you achieve such interesting lighting in the center of the image? I love the distant suggestion of sticks. It almost has a feeling of now and then...two time periods side by side. Outstanding image! Roberta
