For those among you who might be interested this image was derived from the same shot as "Matrix" (check tech notes on each). The original shot was of water remaining in a tumbler, meltdown from ice cubes left after a gin and tonic. I was working on my computer for an ad I was doing and I noticed the circular patterns through the tumbler. One was the waterline, one was the lower perimeter outline of the tumbler and the other the raised center of the tumbler bottom. It was interesting enough to shoot for the challenge, which I did. In this one I solarized one layer intensified the color and contrast, then overlayed the plain glass at 50% opacity. I Did some color intensification and contrast stuff to that layer (pretty much all the color is from my cherry wood computer table), sharpened a tad and this was what I got. Fun enough to enter I thought. The "Matrix" was from the identical shot but with just the original solarized layer which I then on a whim extruded. I tweaked the hue a bit and kept it. Extrusion is usually pretty boring, but this interested me because it created a sort of circular futuristic city, the circle formed by cubes. Well, I liked it enough to post it. If anyone is interested I will post the URL of the original tumbler image. Fremiet
