A figurative and (in case that doesn't qualify) a literal circle. :)

Really nice work. When I checked the gallery to see if anyone had used the title I was planning on, I found this picture and didn't feel bad at all the title had been taken :-) We were very much on the same wavelength. Great photo, I really like it. - Shay

A beautiful portrait Joe! And you even covered all the bases circle-wise :-). I always enjoy your portraits. Melanie (mlynn)

Circle of life was one of the themes that came to my mind to when I read about the challenge topic. The way you used this theme is extraordinary. Great composition, well balanced lighting and of course two beautifull subjects. This picture will be a treasure in the years to come.... Hewy

What a beautiful image, Joe - a simple, powerful portrait. I've been looking at it for a while and just love the emotions you've captured. Also, a wonderful available light/b&w. Bev

Thanks for all your kind comments. I've been in a photography funk lately (actually, very little time for photography) and it's especially nice to have what I've been able to take be well-received. Joe

Beautifully composed B&W portrait, Joe. I like the subjects' attention to the ring toy. Beautiful, round faces and cheeks :) A lovely moment in a loving relationship. MFC

Beautiful image Joseph! I love the use of B&W, and the young/old contrast but mostly the love that is portrayed in a fine portrait. Roberta
