Northeastern Wisconsin

The classic struggle between MAN wanting to build something, and NATURE wanting to take it back.
On a different part of our property which will not be sold, a tree has fallen across a path, blocking it.
(seen just to the left of image center as a dark lump, and also to my right, lying diagonally in some other trees.) The path therefore falls into
disuse and is overgrown. I must admit that my girlfriend took this picture *of* me, with my new
chainsaw (to replace one stolen two years ago), heading down the trail to remove the dead, fallen
tree. I desaturated myself in this image as sort of a symbol to show how this has been played
out again and again going back through history. I am not just JIM here, but EVERYMAN who has
worked to reclaim something that NATURE wanted back.

Feel free to suggest a title. 8)

Jim, this looks like a good shot to demonstrate your concept of "clearing(or reclaiming) a path". I like this perspective showing you, with saw, approaching the fallen tree. Good idea. MFC
