This has everything! The path is defined by the aggressive lean of the horses and their master. The shot is is beautifully lighted and captures all the enery of a horse pull... but more than that, the synergy and teamwork between man and beasts, and the commonality of their effort. Bravo. Thanks for the comments.
I started taking shots from the stands but the sun was wrong so I had to go stand in the staging area for the horse teams. They are pure athelets and know their turn is coming up so they nervously/anxously pace around alot. I almost got walked on by one of the biggest pairs. I calmly stepped aside trying to pretend the two inch eyes looking at me from two feet above my head was a common occurance for this guy from the north side of chicago. And my wife came over there with me! How is that for family support!

Wow! There is a lot of drama in this! You have captured the action beautifully, and the look of intense concentrations on the horses and the man. Great! Lisafx

Great photo - the horses reallly look determined to go - it looks way more powerful than a 2 horsepower engine. - Katherine Kenison

Nice action capture, Mikeee...I like the expression on the man & horses as well as the flying dust. Well done. MFC

Of course on a horse I would like this one.

Digging in and dust.

Whoa!
