I wish I could return to the Valley. First snow has fallen, remember. I hope we can explore some more, call when time allows.....your friend

Such a serene image! I too love the sunbeams -- great capture. Helen

Those sunbeams are perfect. I like the DOF of this shot, especially how the mountain appears softer than the foreground. I can't get over those sunbeams!

This is really beautiful. I love the sunbeams on the trees.

I remember having seen this when I visited Yosemite many years ago. A lot of people must have photographed this but you have found the right angle, the right moment and the right settings to capture this in a very dramatic way. Love the rays shining of the road. Well done... Hewy

I'm with you, I would rather be there too. The lighting is great in this shot, illuminating the mountain shrouded in mist while the trees and road are almost in silhoette. Lisafx

Ice this is beautiful. I haven't been to Yosemite in years and this makes me want to get back there. Love the quality of atmosphere and luminescence. Ann C

Rich, I really like the beautiful lighting here...nice perspective/composition. I think you captured a wonderful mood... I esp like the rays of light "up ahead" and how the tall pine contrasts with the colossal rock facing. Nice photo. MFC
