Qualm
by El-See

I know, an odd title (qualm: an uneasy feeling about a course of action). However, as I was trying to capture the image, this quote came to mind: "The hardest thing to learn in life is which bridges to cross and which to burn." David Russell

I'm with Ann on this one. I like the picture, but I think it'd be more effective if you cropped out the trees and/or left a little tiny bit of them, but desaturated them so it could look like a late-autumn sky. :) Really nice pic either way though! - JaimeZX

Lovely path and color tones. I esp like the composition, the reflection, and the grass sticking out of the water. I think I like the contrast of the darker greens in the background, but I can see it Ann's way too. Nice shot. MFC

Thanks for your comments and suggestion, Ann. I will certainly give the crop a try.

Your title drew me in El See and then I read your note and understood. I like the thought behind this one. I also really like the shape of the bridge and the grass in the water. I am wondering what this would look like if you cropped out the green trees in the back and just had the bridge and the brown field and no trees at all. It would be more abstract for sure. Just a thought. Ann C
