Gracefully sharing a common bond, the hands represent different stages of aging...Nice photo, Yuri. MFC

Beautiful portrait of youth and age Yuri. One thing I really like is that they both show signs of working with the land, even the young child. Ann C

Very well done, it obviously fits the challenge topic. I love the way the (available) light brings out the lines and details on the hands. As said below: it´s the wear and the remaining dirt on the hands that bring the image to live. Since you added a * one remark: I think your focussing point was a bit too high (on the childs hands) making the hand of the adult a bit soft (smaller aperture would have avoided this). Not really a problem, it doesn´t influence the impact of the image... Hewy

Very nice example of aging. You had a wonderful idea to compare the two hands. Even the fact that they are dirty shows that they have been working or playing. This picture tells a sweet story. Lisafx

Very nicely done, Yuri. The hands tell a story, conveying the passing of time from one generation to the next. I like how you've captured the hands soiled and battered from work. The crop is a bit tight on the bottom but it does not take away from the image. Nice detail and color. -- El-See

Grandmother and her granddaughter - my Dacha's neighbours. Agricultural association :-)
They cultivate cucumbers, tomatos, cabbages, squashes and many, many different flowers...
One helps another...
